Have you been wondering if your water is safe to drink? If you're concerned about the poisons in your drinking water be sure to check out this in depth post from @lilygolightly. She talks about the different types of filtration methods out there and which she uses. I suggest EVERYONE go and read this post - take care of your health and be informed about what you put into your body.

Don’t get discouraged if you’re not raking in the dough within your first month - or first couple of months even. Steemit is a long term investment not a get rich quick scheme. Stick with it and keep steemin'!

@mudcat ahhh words can't express my thanks!! I'm honored and so grateful! :) <3 you guys rock - it's such an awesome initiative for Steemit and I truly believe in this platform. We all want to see it grow and expand but in the right way lol no one wants this to turn into spam central like other social media platforms lol
I remember how I almost gave up on Steemit early in 2017 because I thought I was alone, I wasn't getting any upvotes or making any real connections (so glad I stuck with it) but if we can help even one person from giving up then I think it's worth it.
AND from the feedback I've been getting I think we are helping a bunch of people :)

@davemccoy thank you so much! I'm elated that I won the logo contest :) :) I was trying to figure our which day I'd do my resteems over the weekend and I thought Minnow Mondays sounded catchy. I do a tarot tuesday so I thought what the hell... keep the cheesy titles going haha I hope everyone uses it! It's important to build up the "lower" class here - we want to create a different kind of economy here on Steemit (at least that what I've seen so many people talking about & I feel the same way) an economy that helps the "lower" class of people thrive. If us minnows stick together and work with the generous dolphins and maybe even the whales out there we can really build a currency that will last the test of time. In my opinion at least lol
I will definitely add the tag into the fish picture and anyone can use it! It's a open source photo from Pixabay anyways :) but I'll make a mock-up and add it to these comments in just a bit.

I like the way you think @amariespeaks ;) ... We are on exactly the same page in terms of building up the base. IMO, its the only way this will go "mainstream". I'm very excited about working with you and so happy to have you on the team!!!

ps.. I would like to add the logo or logos as my background in my profile. But other than crudely knowing how to use "snipping tool", I have no understanding how to make it fit (ratio)... also I know that I need the black to see my numbers. So do you have any ideas of how I could just add the different logos onto the black in the right ratio to make it visible when someone comes to my profile? Just wondering, so don't let me take up too much of your time if you are busy creating something else incredible :)

I'm so excited to have gotten involved with this ! You guys are all awesome people and it's just reinforced my belief that there are still good, honest people out there! - And to think they called me crazy! lol
I'm not gonna lie, I'm no digital art expert lol I recently started learning this.. (I'm more of a draw it with my hands on paper kind of artist) I've been teaching myself programs likek gimp and canva in my spare time. But I think you could totally resize and move around anything on there via canva...

should have asked @davemccoy which logos do you want to have, like how many? I will need to research the size of the header to make sure it fits right - I can keep the background black and make a few arrangements and send them to you? I've got a bit of spare time lol and hey it's well needed honing of my new skills :)

Seriously, it isn't something that needs to be done anytime soon. The other 2 I have been created for almost a month, so I will now have 4 that one day I will find a way to present them on my page. But it can wait, life and other things do come first.
So that is a wordy way of saying, there you go... do what you want, I fully support you and whatever looks best. (just try to keep those numbers clear, my eyes really are getting bad) lol

never said I wasn't lol and I never read anywhere in the #newbieresteemday post that minnows were not part of the initiative. In fact they ask anyone who's got over a (40) rep to be a part.
I've been on here for over a year and have a little bit of a network built up and some SP to vote people up so I'm helping the newbies as best I can - in the small way I can.

I didn't realize it would catch on lol thought it was a bit cheesy haha but anyone can use it. @davemccoy suggested making up a #minnowmondays and using that pic with all the fishies on it as an open pic everyone can use for the tag :) I'm gonna add the tag into that pic and share it in the comments ina little bit - but feel free to make your own if your inclined to do so!

and can we use the fish pic for other people to do "minnonmonday"? In fact if you could put the tag inside the pic, I think we could get lots of people to follow your lead and hunt for good newbies.
