One of my 30 minutes sketch practice. As you can see at the bottom "Credit to the original artist". I redrew it from somewhere. I cant find the original picture tho. I saw the anime an art blog, sometime ago and thought i should use it for my minutes sketch practice for that day. So the whole sketching was done under 30 minutes but the painting with photoshop took hours.
I wont go into much details because I've explained it before in my previous post. Scroll down my blog a bit to find it.
Here the first step... The loose sketch... to get the positions of the eyes, ears, nose, mouth.
From here, you always add another layer in every step, for easy corrections. So i added another layer as i sketched out the face, hair and some other parts of the body. Watch closely and observe how i added all the features of the face on the loose sketch. So the loose sketch enables me to know where to place them.
Like i always say, I'm not going to teach you what value painting is... That's a whole lesson on its own. So if you dont know what it is, you can always check google and watch some videos.
Continue the value painting... the layers will also help to to adjust the contrast or brightness as paint. As usual, Observe closely, the Values of the reference you’re working from, the light/shadow and recreate the same pattern.
Always remember to hide the lines as you work, to know when the edges are visible enough.
When the edges and features are up to your taste, work on matching the values better overall and blend it where needed. Always zoom in as much as you need to, for the detailing phase. You mustn't be very accurate, you are a human being not God. Even if you make mistakes you can correct them with adjustments and liquify tool.
Practice makes Perfect.
My next tutorial will be on how to color a greyscale painting, that i can go into details to explain for the first time.

This work deserves as much credit and rewards as any other art work i have yet been fortunate enough to find on steemit, does, @sparrowbernard.
If you keep up with such fine and creative work, i bet it is only a shortwhile and you will get the attention and rewards you such works deserve. I honestly think so.
I am resteeming this, just so you know i mean my words. Hopefully it gets you some exposure.
Even so, keep up the quality. I can see @newbieresteemday already has your back. They are great. And gave me the exposure that is paying off now.
Cheers!
