TTFPP is a third trimester field program which was introduced by late Jerry John Rawlings to the northern universities to reach out to the rural areas. As part of the UDS curriculum, students in levels 100,200 and 300 and posted to villages within the 3 northern regions and sometimes Bono and Ahafo regions.
Lectures are conducted before the end of the second trimester to educate students on how to go about the field work. We are expecting to take headcount, outline the strengths and weaknesses in the village, educate the community on certain issues like sanitation, health and others.when we return , every group has a presentation and marks are seated as part of each person’s GPA. It’s a good experience with the rural life and I’m looking forward to being part of it since the COVID did not permit me from going in my first year.follow to keep updated on which village I get posted to and how it goes from there😌.ANTICIPATE
