Although I've known about this day for months thanks to Elizabeth Peru I didn't realise I've been feeling the energy coming through weeks ago and that unconsciously we've been preparing for today.

You know... All the tears and emotional breakdowns and then all the reno, cleaning and gardening that followed after... it was all prep for today. This I realised sometime last night.

I had written up a big emotional blog for today last night but decided against being long winded and detailed on the blockchain and instead I'll pour all that in my New Moon rituals cos sister girlfriend is gonna get her witchy on today and harness all this energy with some rituals and a reading later tonight.

New Moons are all about new beginnings and setting intentions and Full Moons are when you harvest/reap everything you sowed during the new moon ~ like an ending or the culmination of a phase.

A lot of things feels "new" right now.

Like the house...

With the black feature wall finally done and dusted, the hallway wall also done and dusted, the roller blinds in as well as the curtains AND the majority of the pendant lights replaced over the weekend it really does feel like a new house.

Can't wait for the black pendant light in the lounge to go....

Like the grow house

After months of neglect I finally got in there on Sunday and started planting the strawberries in the garden bed. I spent yesterday in there, finished off the planting (added companions as well), plucked the dead leaves off, then topped off with mulch.

Even I feel new~ish

I've realised, come to terms and processed a lot of things over the last few weeks and I've decided once bub is out I need to have a good chat with people, set records straight and define boundaries.

I've let far too much slide and go because I felt guilt when the whole time I punished myself taking all the blame on for something, I've realised, wasn't fair or right from the very beginning and how that moment in my life changed my course.

It's time I forgave myself and close that door firmly behind me.

Today/Tonight

Technically, according to this the eclipse won't be happening until around 3am Sydney time tomorrow morning which gives me plenty of time to do my rituals tonight.

This morning my main priority was to organise my mail out boxes.

Get all my orgonites and crystals I want to send out together and charge them on my desk.

Set up the "altar" by the front door since it's the Helpful People & Travel area and where big buddha sits so figured it's a good spot.

Lakshmi the Goddess of Abundance and Good Fortune.

Buddha a constant reminder to stay zen, live simply and be grateful.

Did a bit more cleaning, a load of washing but that's about it. I'm now watching acrylic pouring videos and trying to gather my thoughts (and tools I need) for tonight's events.

So yeh! Can't wait! It's been ages since I got my witchy on and tonight's a very significant new moon.

You don't have to do anything special if you don't want to. There's just things I want and I'm choosing to piggy back off tonight's energies.
