Hi all - I'm new on steemit. I've been a programmer for about 20 years. I'm mainly in the information systems and business intelligence domains, in healthcare. I heard about steemit through cryptocurrency boards. Don't know where I've been to miss out on this. I'm long BTC and ETC right now. I got involved buying and trading crypto not long before the DAO hack. Now I'm watching ETH/ETC play out. I like the ETH and ETC technology for smart contracts.
Generally speaking, I'm in the ETC camp from a philosophy perspective.
I'm also a small-time stock and stock options trader.
