"Flying cars" were until a few years ago present only in movies, but a Dutch company will be the first to put this kind of a car on the streets and in the air.
Terrafugia and AeroMobil are two of the many companies that try to make the flying car dream come true, but for them is still a dream.

Though it is PAL-V Liberty that will manage to bring this kind of a car in show rooms, on the streets and in the air.
PAL-V Liberty is the name for the production series vehicle presented by the Dutch company at the Auto Show in Geneva.

There were a lot of flying car prototypes during recent years, but the one offered by PAL-V has a totally different design.
The Dutch flying car has only three wheels and when the propellers are extended it looks more like a Gyrocopter or an Autogyro.

When used as a normal car it size is as normal as it can be. It won't eat nothing from the opposite lane. Powered by two engines that produce together 90 bhp the flying car will be able to reach a maximum speed of 160 km/h on the road and in the air.

It weighs less than a tone and it has all the necessary certificates to be used on the road and even in the air. What makes it special is that the one using it will have to be a driver and a pilot at the same time.

It will need from 5 to 10 minutes to convert from a normal car to a flying one and a piece of straight road to take off. It comes in two versions: a sport one that will cost $400,000 and a more spectacular model named Pioneer that is valued at $600,000.
