Rolls-Royce is ready to launch an SUV. The model was set to appear in the summer this year, and for the start the British will show it at private events.
The British car manufacturer is ready to step on Bentley's footsteps and launch an SUV (Cullinan, the name used by the company when they started the project). According to close sources, the future SUV prepared by Rolls-Royce will be exposed at private events starting in summer this year.
Rolls-Royce engineers are preparing to make the last changes, the British SUV being surprised by spy photos during tests on the German circuit at the Nurburgring.
The Rolls-Royce SUV was developed on the platform of the new generation Phantom, and under the hood we could see the same 6.75-liter V12 that produces 563 horsepower and 900 Nm.
The same sources say the future Rolls-Royce product will be marketed this year and deliveries will begin in early 2019. The British hope the new SUV will make a consistent contribution to sales and thus the brand will pass 5,000 units a year. In 2017, Rolls-Royce sold 3,362 vehicles globally, sales being decresed with 16% from 2016.
I think the future is hybrid cars!
