W dniu dzisiejszym w środkowej Nigerii doszło do ataku na kościół katolicki przeprowadzony przez okoliczną grupę koczowniczych muzułmanów. Trzeba przypomnieć że w tym regionie trwają ciągłe walki o wodę i tereny orne między zazwyczaj osiadłymi chrześcijanami z koczowniczymi muzułmanami. Sprawcy ataku są obecnie poszukiwane przez nigeryjskie służby od dłuższego czasu bowiem od poprzednich atakach na inną wioskę
