Equifax gathers information about american credit history, other countries have nothing to do with that.

why?

Cause its US credit company. Credit history is based on the country the loan or credit cards was issued. Does other countries give their citizens credit history to US companies, off course no. I have dual citizenship, US and another country. Also dual credit history, can't mix them together. My credit history in another country is worthless in US and vice versa. Hope that explains your question.
