Apple said it will now offer the $29 battery replacement on iPhone 6 or later starting immediately, instead of waiting until later January as previously announced. This is in response to customers angry about having their older model phones slowed down after iOS upgrades. My own iPhone 6 has noticeably slowed after the latest software update, so I am considering getting a new battery to see if that helps. Has anyone had luck doing this yet?
