BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:40 A.M.) - The Syrian military has resumed their military operations inside the small pocket still held by the Islamic State (ISIS) in southern Damascus, a source told Al-Masdar News this morning.
Syrian jets were reportedly seen above both the Yarmouk Camp and Hajar Al-Aswad around 11:45 A.M. (Damascus Time), as the 48 hour ceasefire is set to expire at noon.
The Islamic State's leadership in southern Damascus did agree to surrender their positions in exchange for transportation to the Badiya Al-Sham region; however, several rogue terrorists have refused to leave.
Since these Islamic State militants wont surrender, the Syrian military will continue their field operations until the terrorists are fully eliminated or agree to leave.
