BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:00 A.M.) - Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad was photographed performing prayers of 'Eid Al-Fitr at the Khadijah Mosque in the Tartous Governorate, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported this morning.
The Syrian President was also joined by the Syrian Grand Mufti Ahmad Badreddine Hassoun and several other officials.
This is the Syrian President's first public trip to the Tartous Governorate since he visited the Sheikh Badr region last August.
Assad often makes public visits during religious and Syrian holidays.
