BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:20 P.M.) - The Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) took advantage of the poor weather, today, to retake some of the ground they lost to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in southern Syria.

With heavy rain and poor visibility, the Daesh fighters were able to push back the Syrian Arab Army troops that were lightly entrenched at the northwestern axis of the Al-Safa hills.

Daesh also received a major boost with the rainfall as they no longer control any major water supply in the Al-Safa region.

According to a military source in Sweida city, the Syrian Arab Army is waiting for the rain to pass the Al-Safa region before they resume their large-scale operation against the terrorist forces.

Since they restarted this operation last weekend, the Syrian Arab Army has managed to liberate at least two kilometers of territory from Daesh, forcing the latter to retreat further south towards the remaining hilltops under their occupation.
