BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:20 P.M.) - The militants that once controlled several neighborhoods inside the East Ghouta region's Jobar suburb officially surrendered their positions to the Syrian government last week.
However, prior to departing from Jobar, the militants executed a number of Syrian Arab Army prisoners and dumped their bodies in a pit before leaving the area.
The Syrian Army uncovered the bodies recently while combing through the militant areas in Jobar.
In the ANNA News video below, the Syrian Army can be seen pulling the body of a recently executed soldier from a pit in Jobar:
The video footage also shows a large amount of tunnels that were used to attack the Syrian Army in Jobar.
