DAMASCUS, SYRIA (8:00 P.M)- Demonstrators took to the street in the West Bank, Gaza Strip and Jerusalem today, to show their solidarity with the thousands of political prisoners held by the Israeli regime.

Israel currently holds 6500 Palestinians inside military prisons, 350 of those held are children and 62 are women.

Approximately 500 Palestinians are currently being held in administrative detention (held without a charge), where they remain until Israel decides they can go, some remain there for up to 15 years.

Israel is the only state on earth which legally permits the usage of torture.

Sexual harrasment and assault are also common place inside Israeli prisons. During the interrogation of 17 year old Political prisoner Ahed Tamimi, the teenage girl is seen to have been sexually harassed by two male interrogators.

1800 prisoners are medical patients, Israel has historically kept medication from prisoners, many times resulting in their deaths.

During Gaza's protests today, 8 were reportedly shot and injured, one with an explosive bullet in Khan Yunis (video below).
