BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:35 P.M.) - The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) scored a big advance in southern Syria, today, after breaking through the Islamic State's (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) lines at the Al-Safa region.
Led by their 3rd Corps and 4th Armored Division, the Syrian Arab Army managed to seize the Al-Safa volcano, following the collapse of Daesh's lines on Saturday afternoon.
According to a military source in Sweida, the Syrian Arab Army killed scores of Daesh terrorists in the Al-Safa region, including the emir of southern Syria Abu Hajer Al-Shishani.
In addition to the high death toll, several Daesh terrorists surrendered themselves to the Syrian Army, ending their long battle in Al-Safa.
As shown in the photos below, some Daesh corpses were left behind by the terrorist group as they retreated to the western axis of this region:
