BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:15 A.M.) - Hundreds of Syrian refugees left east Lebanon on Saturday in order to return to Syria, the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported.
According to the SANA report, more than 500 refugees left the camps in east Lebanon to return to the Qalamoun region of western Syria.
The refugees reportedly entered through the Al-Zamrani Crossing in the Qalamoun Mountain region.
Most of these refugees were residents of the western Qalamoun towns of Assal Al-Ward, Al-Jibbeh, and Jarajeer; they fled their homes once the war reached this area.
This is the third batch of refugees to leave Lebanon for Syria in the last ten days.
Another large batch of refugees are expected to depart from east Lebanon in the coming days, as both the Lebanese and Syrian governments work to return all the people wanting to return home.
