BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:30 P.M.) - Stopping the ongoing inter-rebel civil war in northwest Syria is not a high priority for the Turkish military as they maintain focus on their upcoming operation in the northern part of the country.
The Turkish military reportedly sent more tanks and military vehicles to the northern outskirts of Manbij this week, despite the fact that hundreds of fighters from the Kurdish-led People's Protection Units (YPG) withdrew from the city.
As shown in the photos below, the Turkish military transported these vehicles to Manbij amid their large-scale buildup at the northern outskirts of Manbij.

Manbij is a strategic city that is located in the northeastern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate.
The city was captured by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) during their large-scale offensive against the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) in 2016.
