Iraqi Air Force crosses into Syria to destroy ISIL's HQ (video)

BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:10 A.M.) - The Iraqi Air Force continued its campaign against the so-called Islamic State (ISIL), yesterday, targeting the terrorist group's positions inside Syrian territory.

According to the Iraqi Ministry of Defense, their air force heavily bombarded the Islamic State's headquarters and and weapons storage facility inside the terrorist group's stronghold of Hajjin in eastern Deir Ezzor.

The Iraqi Ministry of Defense added that the airstrikes were carried out by their F-16 jets.

Meanwhile, on the ground, the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) reached the outskirts of Hajjin, where according to the pro-opposition monitor, Syrian Observatory of Human Rights (SOHR), at least 50 Islamic State commanders are hiding out.
