BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:40 A.M.) - The Russian Ropucha class LSTM Minsk was photographed, Thursday, sailing through the Bosphorus Strait en route to the Port of Tartous in western Syria.
According to a military report, the Russian naval vessel was carrying a large arsenal of tanks, BMPs, and heavy weapons that were destined for Syria.
This latest delivery comes just day after the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) announced that their forces were planning a large-scale offensive in southern Syria.
In particular, the Syrian Army is preparing to launch a massive offensive in the Dara'a and Al-Quneitra governorats, as they conclude their East Ghouta operations.
