BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:20 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has seized another large quantity of weapons that were left behind by the rebel forces in the Daraa province.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the military seized a large weapons cache inside the Daraa Al-Balad District after continuing their combing operation in the province capital.
Upon discovering this weapons cache, the Syrian military uncovered a remote-controlled reconnaissance aircraft, mortar shells, and automatic rifles that were left behind by the Free Syrian Army (FSA0 and their allies.
Furthermore, PKC machine guns, RPG launchers, homemade rocket shells, military night telescope, telecommunication devices, and several ammunition boxes were seized by the Syrian military on Tuesday.
The Syrian Arab Army has since confiscated the weapons and transferred them to the local authorities.
