BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:00 P.M.) - Hundreds of Syrian refugees returned to their homes in the Qalamoun region of the Damascus countryside through the al-Zamarni corridor on Thursday.
Footage shows dozens of families waiting and being processed at the checkpoint.
The displaced people were reported to have been staying in the Lebanese town of Arsal, and once brought to the al-Zamarni corridor buses were waiting to take them back to their homes in the area around Damascus.
