BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:50 P.M.) - For the third time this week, the Turkish Army has attacked the Kurdish-led People's Protection Units (YPG) in northern Syria.
Using heavy artillery, the Turkish Army repeatedly struck the YPG's positions near the border-city of Tal Al-Abyad in northern Al-Raqqa.
No casualties have been reported as of yet.
The Turkish military launched a similar attack on Tuesday that targeted the US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces' (SDF) positions inside the city of Ras Al-'Ayn in northwest Al-Hasakah.
These latest attacks by the Turkish Army on northern Syria come just days after President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that his nation's military will be launching an operation east of the Euphrates.
Since the announcement, the Turkish military has launched attacks on northern Syria nearly everyday.
