BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:10 P.M.) - Turkish spy planes were spotted over northern Syria on Tuesday as the Turkish military's operation east of the Euphrates approaches.
According to local activists in the Aleppo Governorate, the Turkish spy planes were spotted flying along the Syrian border near the towns of Tal Al-Abyad, Kobane (var. 'Ayn Al-'Arab), and Ras Al-'Ayn.
These three aforementioned border towns are expected to the be the main targets of the Turkish military's upcoming offensive east of the Euphrates.
With the increase in air activity, their Turkish military operation is expected to kickoff this weekend as the final preparations for this offensive have been made.
