BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:00 P.M.) - The Kurdish-led People's Protection Units (YPG) carried out several attacks against the Turkish-backed rebels in northwestern Syria this week.

According to the official media wing of the YPG, their troops carried out their first attack against the Turkish-backed Sultan Murad Division of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) in the Bilbil District of the Afrin region on December 8th.

The second YPG attack would take place on the same day near the Turkish border; this resulted in the death of two members of Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham.
