After the Cambridge Analytica scandal, Facebook started a survey to find out what its users think about its service

Facebook polls its users on whether it is "good for the world," according to the "Cnet" site, citing information from The Associated Press. This after a series of criticisms against the social network and its handling of the privacy of the people who access their service.

The "We'd like to do better" survey appears only for an unspecified number of users when they log into their Facebook account. It offers response options that range from "strongly agree" ("I totally agree") to "strongly disagree" ("I do not agree at all").

The desire to know the perception of its users is a way for Facebook to measure the damages caused by the Cambridge Analytica scandal, a company that misused the information of 50 million users of the social network for political purposes.

It is not the first time that Facebook conducts a survey to know the opinions of its users. Since 2015, it periodically issues a series of questions to a group of people as it deals with some type of criticism or controversy. The same question appeared, for example, after the Russian interference in the US elections. in 2016.

Precisamente, Cambridge Analytica es señalada de utilizar la información recaudada en favor de la campaña de Donald Trump. Así como Facebook fue acusado de propagar noticias falsas y desinformación que apoyaron al ahora presidente de EE.UU
