Before 2011 when syria's war broke out, the population of christian's living there were estimated to be somewhere between 10-15% yet something that as bothered me in all the coverage of the refugees that have been constantly beamed across MSM screens, is the distinctive lack of the amount of christian's and other religious ethnicity's represented! seen! or even highlighted! among all of them? why?
In the mail online article linked below the Barnabas Fund charity, which obtained figures under the Freedom of Information laws highlighted my concerns even more( ie, there were only 11 christian's out of the 4,832 Syrians refugees brought in to britain last year) and it seams that no one wants to provide any answers? as usual in this modern day world of information technology we are left to look for ourselves.
So how do we find out some sort of truth to the reason's why there is a lack of recording of the numbers of christian's fleeing war torn syria? are they hidden? do they exist? have they disappeared? or is it not politically correct to offer them asylum/sanctuary from persecution? or show it? whatever the reason is? it is most certainly not reflected in the figures the charity's FOI has been given and what my own observation's has been telling me in the last 7/8 years that is for sure, 11 from 4832 only equates to 0.25%, where the muslim population it is 80/90%? its a bit like saying (roughly)for every 8/9 muslim refugees offered sanctuary in britain only 1/500th of a christian are given the same! have i got this wrong? or is it more complicated than this and i am not getting the full picture? you tell me.
