Manchester United beat RB Leipzig with five goals without reply in the 2020/21 Champions League Group H matchday 2 which was held at Old Trafford, Thursday (10/28/2020) early morning WIB.
Marcus Rashford became the star of United's victory by scoring three goals, aka a hat-trick. The other two goals each were created by Mason Greenwood and Anthony Martial's penalty.
Thanks to this victory, Manchester United is getting stronger at the top of Group H with 6 points, while Leipzig is in third place with 3 points.
First Half Run
In this match, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made a surprise by reserving some of his flagship players, such as Marcus Rashford to Bruno Fernandes.
However, United still appear aggressive. As a result, Greenwood successfully led the Red Devils to lead through a goal he created in the 21st minute.
Receiving a through ball from Paul Pogba, Greenwood coolly shoots the ball at the far post to beat Peter Gulacsi. The referee had time to review the VAR and then still endorsed this goal.
Leipzig also tried to reply. However, their efforts failed to bear fruit. Score 1-0 for United's superiority lasted until halftime.

The Second Half Goes
Returning from the dressing room, United and Leipzig had more of a duel in midfield. No dangerous chances have been created at the start of the second half.
Solskjaer also included Rashford, Scott McTominay and Bruno Fernandes to add to his team's pounding power. The decision of the man from Norway was not wrong. United's attack is increasingly dangerous.
Rashford successfully doubled United's lead through a goal he scored in the 74th minute. This goal was disallowed because the line judge raised an offside sign.
However, the referee finally approved this goal after reviewing the VAR. In replays, it is clear that Rashford has not crossed the center line when he received Fernandes' pass.
Just four minutes later, Rashford scored his second goal. Getting the ball on the edge of the penalty box, Rashford first outwitted Dayot Upamecano before opening a shot to break into Gulacsi's goal.
Entering the 85th minute, United were awarded a penalty after Martial was violated by Marcel Sabitzer in the forbidden box. Martial himself acted as the executioner and successfully carried out his duties perfectly.
Ahead of the match, Rashford completed his special appearance by scoring the third goal, aka a hat-trick. The 5-0 score for United's victory was the final result of this match.
