Our State is almost unknown and, despite being his capital, my city doesn't even have Burger King. We have only one McDonalds filial that which is in the city's only mall. Just to create a mind picture of how sad it is. Although, today, in this very morning while I am writing this very text, the Uber company started their service on my forgotten city.
As expected, the taxi drivers didn't like it. They didn't like it for real. As fast as the first Uber driver begin his very first ride, he gets surrounded by angry sad middle aged man.
I SMASH!
They destroyed the car with sticks and kicks. Screaming at the poor machine who were probably praying to Optimus Prime to be saved, vainly. The driver and his passenger were harmed, lightly but still harmed.
Only one taxi driver was arrested and the others flew away. It is a real pity that things like this are happening. Our small city needs some new services to grow. Those are some shots available in a local news portal. Hope the situation get better soon and everyone could use the service safe and happy.
