Censorship has reached an unprecedented level! Facebook, Google, and Youtube have been censoring information for some time. But now they're going after the big businesses like Amazon. Businesses shouldn't be pressured by the government to censor books.
Congressman Adam Schiff wrote a letter today asking Amazon why they promote anti-vaccine books and documentaries. Amazon already took the controversial film Vaxxed off of their streaming site. What's next? Will Amazon suppress all the anti-vaccine info on their website, such as books and documentaries?
Of course, this is a coordinated attack on our freedom of speech. They claim it's potentially dangerous to sell anti-vaccine books because it's "misinformation" and it's causing many people to opt out of vaccination. Why not let the people hear both sides and decide for themselves. We've all heard "vaccines are safe and effective," so we know that side of the story. Much fewer people are familiar with why people choose not to vaccinate.
It astonishes me to talk to people about it because they almost always act like anti-vaxxers are ridiculous, but they're not familiar with the arguments. They don't even know why people opt out. I often hear it's because of Jenny McCarthy.
What?
Hopefully, this will wake people up to the urgent issue of censorship. It's never been more important for us to be informed, stick together, and take action.
If you're interested in learning more about vaccines, I have a playlist of videos about vaccines on my Youtube channel, here.
