KM Jaya Abadi ship smuggled illegal goods from Thailand to Indonesia captured by the Navy in the waters of Aceh Tamiang a few days ago, now items that have no documents have been secured to the Lhokseumawe Customs and Excise office.
The illegal goods will be auctioned or destroyed. Goods inside the ship are transported by truck to be secured to Lhokseumawe customs office warehouse and will be re-inspected.
KM Jaya Abadi freight ship before being captured by the Lhokseumawe Navy for having no valid documents, so all the evidence like two hundred ten roosters, chicken medicines and eight tons of clothing is now secured in the Lhokseumawe customs office.
Lhokseumawe Customs and Excise Officer Zainuddin said the process of shipping illegal goods is still in the re-examination stage.
