In the country there are more than 5000 directive and indirect entrepreneurs in the e-commerce sector, with more than one thousand entrepreneurs and five thousand F-Commerce users. More than 50 thousand people work in this sector. With 20 percent growth in the sector every year, more jobs will be created in the next few years.

E-commerce buyers are mainly urban centers. 80 percent of buyers in Dhaka, Gazipur and Chittagong. Abdul Wahed said that the e-cab has already drafted the draft National e-commerce policy with the government. Its implementation process is in progress. Being a logistic partner of Bangladesh Post Office e-Post, e-Post will guarantee product delivery till the country's rural area, he said.
