An out-of-control Chinese space station with 'highly toxic' chemicals onboard that is currently hurtling toward earth may crash into lower Michigan.

The satellite is carrying hydrazine, which is used in various rocket fuels and to prepare the gas precursors used in air bags. Hydrazine is used within both nuclear and conventional electrical power plant steam cycles as an oxygen scavenger to control concentrations of dissolved oxygen in an effort to reduce corrosion.

Up to 40% of the satellite is expected to survive its free fall through Earths atmosphere. It’s expected to begin reentry on April 3rd.
