The various terrorist groups in Idlib stand no chance of mounting any significant challenge to the Syrian army, backed by Russia. So why are they not surrendering to avoid being massacred? Who are the powerful forces behind their intransigence?
US President Rod Rosenstein seems ready to go to war with Russia in defence of the Idlib ‘rebels’. If Mr Rosenstein orders an attack against Russian forces in Syria, the US Generals will only have two choices: Either ignite World War III, or refuse to follow the orders.
The third possible scenario would be Russia avoids confrontation with the West by recalling their forces from Syria - very unlikely. But what would happen if Russia abandons Syria now?
Rise of ISIS II
If Russia were to abandon Syria now, the so-called ‘moderate rebels’, supported by Israel and the Deep State, would quickly recover their lost territory and establish a new Caliphate, probably using a different, more catchy name.
Israel and the Deep State desperately need a Caliphate in Syria to do the jobs they cannot do directly. ISIS II territory would be used to:
Launch cyber-attacks against targets in the West.
Train terrorists to attack the West.
The above events create fear and uncertainty in the West. That means governments will need to do more surveillance on their citizens. And all surveillance data from the West ends up in the hands of the leaders of the Deep State/Israel, thus making them more powerful.
If All Uninvited Foreign Forces Leave Syria
The terrorists would be crushed within days. Syria would start rebuilding, refugees would go back home and the world would become safer.
Why would anyone oppose this?
Do some powerful forces fear that, if the whole of Syria is liberated, their friends in ISIS will have nowhere to hide, and will have to surrender, and if that happens, they might sing about all the support they were getting from Israel/Deep State?
"US President Rod Rosenstein"? Typo I guess? I hope Trump doesn't do an about-face from these previous tweets.

You are right. President Trump was very consistent about not supporting Jihadists. Hopefully, he will remember about his 2013-14 tweets in the coming days.

There was a mutiny attempt organized by Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein involving convincing members of President Donald Trump's cabinet to invoke the 25th amendment to oust POTUS from office.

The fact that the DEEP STATE is offering their leader Mr Rosenstein as bait proves beyond reasonable doubt that the UNREDACTED FISA docs contain enough evidence to prove their high crimes including treason.
