Bloomberg: "By 2020, the AI will be the new engine for China's economy"

Chinese authorities intend to make AI technologies the engine of economic growth. Bloomberg stressed that this should be done as early as 2020. The forecast is based on the development plan published by the Chinese government.

According to Chinese experts involved in the project development, by 2025 robot and deep machine learning algorithms will generate $ 59 billion. The project identifies the key areas of development: software and hardware for artificial intelligence, autonomous transport, AR and VR.

"AI is becoming a new area of fierce international competition," says the government's plan. "We have to take the initiative and very clearly understand how this sector will develop. This will give us a competitive advantage, create new industrial units and raise the level of national safety. "

The plan particularly highlights China's desire to become a world state, which has been placed above all on its technology giants, science and military centers actively testing the AI.

According to the PwC forecast, by 2030, the share of artificial intelligence in the world economy will reach $ 15.7 trillion, which is more than the share of India and China to date.

Bloomberg experts take the detailed plan for the development of AI technologies as a huge asset to China. Against this background, the share price of the Chinese PR companies increased.
