"For far too long, Backpage.com existed as the dominant marketplace for illicit commercial sex, a place where sex traffickers frequently advertised children...but this illegality stops right now. "

Wait...your telling me there was as web site where law enforcement could find actual kidnapped and exploited children...arrange to 'meet' them and thereby save them from their living hell...arrest the pimp and likely other exploited children...and with this blessed source of hope in a desprate world...our brainchilds in government shut the site down, rather than save the children?

Srsly? They knew about a web site where they could have found exploited children and thier ruthless traffickers...and they shut it down?

Who's side is law enforcement on?

Ok. Just get the kids out of the clutches of pimps. I'm good with that.

Agreed.
