Yes, indeed.
It reminds one a little bit of the balance in the savannah or everywhere else in the animal kingdom where life goes out in order to sustain life.
It is as if life is such a powerful force that it inevitably draws pests and parasites of one sort or another, perhaps according to some preordained reminder to us that life is a gift which ought to be cherished.
And since, despite evidence to the contrary, we imagine ourselves to be at a level 'higher' than
other animals, it is inevitable that we would, as a sign of 'progress', evolve and produce the kind of pests and parasites that have never been seen before in the 'lower' echelons of the animal kingdom.
