450 BTC (about $ 3.3 million).

The kidnappers found their victim in a social network, where the man demonstrated his luxurious way of life and a beautiful bride. For some time they tracked down the businessman, and then kidnapped him along with a laptop and other equipment.

"The criminals did not let go of the victim for eight hours, kept him in a minibus and threatened with violence. They forced him to give them 450 BTC, "the newspaper said.
The victim wrote a statement to the police, and the investigators in a short time managed not only to reach the trail of criminals, but also to track the movement of stolen coins.

"The police initiated the operation with a front-line agent and managed to catch the criminals red-handed when they were preparing to kidnap the second victim," the newspaper noted.

It is reported that at present one of the gang leaders has already been convicted of extortion and sentenced to 30 years imprisonment.
