Five women have been killed in a church shooting incident. The attacks occurred in the troubled areas of the country known as Dagestan Republic on Sunday evening.
Russian officials said five people, including a police officer, a member of the National Guard, were injured in the firing.

The man fired on a person with a predatory gun in the church. Four women were killed in the shooting at the scene. Another injured woman died while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
A priest in the church said that when everyone was coming out of the church after the prayer, a person came forward towards the church and fired. Four of his victims were killed. The priest said, the attacker had a rifle and a knife.
The militant Islamic State (IS) claimed responsibility for the attack. A spokeswoman for the ISAF News Amak News Agency said that one of their fighters launched the attack. But the authenticity of this claim of IS is not yet confirmed.
