A Chinese company is rumored to be buying shares of Manchester United that has been controlled by businessmen the United States, the Glazer Family.
Sunday Times reported, a mysterious buyer from China reportedly interested in buying shares of MU. Not long ago, it is known the mysterious buyer is an insurance company called Ping An Insurance Group.
Reportedly some independent share voters MU has been contacted by Ping An Insurance Group. But, the rumor was immediately denied.
"Ping An is not involved in talks or stock purchases at Manchester United," said Ping An spokesman Sheng Ruisheng.
"As a listed company, Ping An always releases information in official statements, please do not believe the growing rumors," he added.
Chinese companies began to dare to acquire big European clubs. The Italian club duo, AC Milan and Inter Milan are real examples.
