My concern
I wrote this article to explain the world about the crisis from Romania, about the corrupt politicians, about the economical status, about the opportunities in this country, about our beautiful country and of course about the enormous reserves of the country.
If you are a geek passionate about news, political status, economical area or curious about what's happening in the world this article is for you.
I don’t know if you know, but here it is a big crisis, thousands of people protest in the street almost every Sunday or Saturday.
The spirit of the protests: peaceful. All the citizens from all the protests were with a peaceful vibe.
Over 600,000 people light up Bucharest’s Victoriei Square in the biggest protest Romania has seen in years/ 06.02.2017
Our politicians are corrupt. It is almost like in Venezuela.
I’m hardly motivated to stay in this country. I’m thinking seriously to move into another country in a few years, if things go bad.
In Romania, the government has decided for many crazy laws.
The first crazy law: video recordings are no longer evidence in court. Curious does not ???? I'm wondering why? politicians are corrupt. Hmmm, so we have no way of catching them from now. Or any thief, one that is identified by the camera can not even be arrested.
The figure of a corrupt politician who said: “I told you with all my sincerity!”.
The second crazy law: more than 3000 prisoners were released. Murderers and rapists released early from Romanian prisons because of 'inhumane' overcrowding.
“There have been a series of judgments from the European Court of Human Rights concerning inadequate prison conditions in Romania going back several years,” a spokesman for the Council of Europe said.
An estimated 8,000 in total expected to benefit from the new law in the first year alone, raising fears of the threat some convicts may pose to the public.
There are also fears the new measures could be used to release officials jailed for corruption. Politicians that are in jailed now will have the opportunity again to become a member of the parliament.
It’s unbelievable!!!!:))))
And there are more crazy laws…..
Some creative work from the citizens. Politicians who are corrupt. The figure who deserve to be in prison not in the parliament.
‘We must fight on’ – said Laura Codruţa Kövesi. Is the current chief prosecutor of Romania's National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA), who has increasingly become the face of Romania’s anti-corruption efforts, leading the fight to clean up the government in Bucharest, the capital from Romania says she will continue to hold ministers to account.
Romania has long been plagued by corruption, but since joining the EU the country has made significant strides in dealing with the issue. Despite these efforts, it remains a major concern.
Part of the anger felt by those who have taken to the streets comes from the fact that many Romanian politicians in office are currently facing corruption investigations, or have already been indicted or convicted of crimes.
A Government without corruption
“I'm here for my future!"
Astonishing video from Roberta Metsola about Romania: : Roberta Metsola videos
Roberta Metsola is a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) representing Malta said about Romania: "Romanians are not any less European than the rest of us. They too want a country where the Rule Of Law is respected, where corruption is fought, where the courts are protected and where laws are not changed on a whim to suit only those in power - we all do.
The people on the streets of Romania are teachers and poets and students and pensioners. They stood up and we will not ignore them. Vă auzim pe stradă - (in romanian language). We hear you."
Conclusion…..
Romania deserves better and dedicated persons who lead the country!
Seems that we have peaceful citizens, a beautiful country, many resources and many opportunities for business development. They politicians fight for power and for money instead for leading the country.
