A drug is a drug.
Many drugs are plant based, one of the first "modern" drugs was called bayer, found as acetylsalicylic acid in the bark of the willow tree, though its use is described thousands of years ago. Later, that drug became so successful in reducing fever, pain and inflammation, the German manufacturer renamed its company after the drug, becoming Bayer AG. More recently, Bayer lost its patent to the name they coined, Aspirin, and today aspirin is found world wide, is produced by many, and has helped tens of millions over the years, even literally saving lives of both adults and children.
