How about prayers , not politics, for victims

How about the number of adults that failed this kid and the victims? School administration, the parents of the kid the shooter was living with, the FBI.

"We sent him an email telling him he can't bring a backpack." Really? How big of cowards are the people who run that school?

I had that argument with my employer this morning. Parental responsibility seems like a thing of tbe past. He says a parent is going to be blinded by love. I say if that was my kid i would have done a lot more a long time ago. And youre right, people that knew him knew he had serious issues and didnt just drop the ball but never had control . This is where mental health is sooo lacking in this country. Law enforcement cant arrest someone for thoughts and ideas no matter how sick they are. Someone like that should be off the streets and put somewhere that they can not act on their thoughts and get help or treatment at the same time. We also need to institute a real time monitoring program of people like this too. Not probation where they are still free to do whatever and pay the price once it is too late. Our society is too reactive instead of proactive. Cell phones ,tablets, video games and movies and tv have way more to do with this trend than anyone wants to admit.
Thaks for your thoughts Chieppa1. I appreciate the input and support
