Bernie Sanders is no slouch when it comes to wealth and his wife has some questionable business ties. Bernie thinks socialism is the answer, but it doesn't change income inequality, either. This is a world of the haves and the have nots and the powerful are people you've never heard of. They control everything. The best we can do is to try to live our lives the best we can and make a difference in ourselves first, then try to make the lives of people around us better. Until people understand that our battle is spiritual, change will not happen.
