The over angle didn't play out yesterday and I lost about half of what I won Friday with 2 more matches to to from playoff 1 on Sunday.
Union vs Club Brugge
Playoff 1 now is split between the race for place 1 or 2 (Union & Brugge) and Place 3 or 4 (Antwerp & Anderlecht). There are 3 points between Club Brugge & Union so Brugge can't afford to lose this match. both playoff 1 matches last week ended in 0-0 scores with Club Brugge not being good enough to beat Anderlecht even though they always should have gotten a penalty. Brugge had been on a long winning streak without really blowing away any of their opponents. They will be without Rits today. I fear that the focus on defense will be much bigger than the will to take a lot of risks and see it as rather unlikely for Union to go full force ahead to take the win and possibly the championship. The draw is a result both likely would signs for as it means Union keeps their lead while Burgge gets a home match to level the standings. I opted for a cautious 0.15 unit bet on
Draw @ 3.504. If Union shows signs of being willing to go forward, I might end up taking them with the 1H corners handicap.
FC Antwerp vs Anderlecht
Both teams fight for place 3 with an equal 33 points which puts Antwerp above. I consider them quite evenly matched with Antwerp so far having played ok in the playoffs after a rather poor end of the season. Anderlecht also did not impress at the end of the season and during the cup match but have slightly improved now the last 2 games. I would not be surprised if the fear to lose is going to be bigger than the will to win for both teams today resulting in a more defensive minded approach again. I also don'nt see Antwerp as that much of an underdog at home. The bets I went with are 0.15 units on
Antwerp +0.5 @ 1.770, 0.05 units on
Draw @ 3.637, 0.1 units on
1H Under 1 @ 2.13, 0.1 unit on
Under 2.75 @ 1.833

I share many of my pre-game bets in all my preview posts as bold selections which are all counted as 1 unit flat bets. See these just as info and not as actual betting advice. Last season I had 236 of these selections which went +13.96% ROI (See Post). So far this season I had 171 bets for a -4.829 units loss and -2.82% ROI. Where I ran hot last year I'm not running quite cold which is normal variance in betting that can only be broken by a lot more volume.
