YG's boy group Treasure will finally have their concert tour outside Asia for the first time in the first half of 2025. YG officially announced it on their social media accounts on December 17.
This will be their first time performing in America, as the boy group only promoted mainly in Asia for the past 4 years. Excitement and anticipation filled their fans after the official poster was released, as their western fans have been waiting for years for the group to perform in the US.
Treasure debuted on August 7, 2020, with 13 members with their debut song, Boy. Despite debuting under YG Entertainment, they did not have the leisure as they debuted during the pandemic, and their company was still heavily criticized because of 2019's issues and scandals regarding some of their artists. Treasure's was supposed to debut in July 2019 but was delayed for a year because of the unfortunate issue surrounding the company at that time.
After four years of their debut, they have now cemented their name as one of the biggest K-pop groups in Japan, as they often topped the charts whenever they released music. Treasure is now promoting as a 10-member group after Yedam and Mashiho left for personal reasons in 2022.
Recently, they won the 2024 MAMA's Favorite Male Group award.
