Vanessa Beeley reporting directly from within the Syria war zone. Her title on YouTube: Eastern Ghouta: Al Wafidin Camp, Douma evacuation
If you're not aware of this extraordinary reporter that is living in with the people of the war torn areas of Syria, I highly recommend you take a look at her reporting. She really fleshes out the disturbing truth of what's really happening over there, and who's responsible. Very courageous to say the least, for her to be over there in the midst of war doing that work. There is another woman over there doing very similarly extraordinarily good reporting. Can't think of her name, but you'll bump into her quickly if you're looking into this at all anyway.
So to me, these women should be getting some sort of gigantic journalists of the year (or decade?) awards for the work that they've done there. A real service to everyone that's actually interested in the knowing what's actually happening in Syria. And if that's not all of humanity at this point in time, I certainly think it should be because we're sitting right on the edge of another world war according to many following this situation.
I really hate to be the harbinger of scary news, but it sure is looking a bit scary (and crazy) out there to me. Hopefully this will all quickly pass and be forgotten - but I for one, don't want to go into another war with my head buried in the sand. Peace.
