Mozilla has decided to create an extension to Firefox that helps protects US and OUR data. Is it good solution?
The extension is created to segregate users' activity on Facebook from their other Web activity, limiting Facebook's ability to track them and gather personal data.
Is this a war beetween these two companies?
Maybe but IMO it is a part of Mozilla strategy to draw attetion of people and make more people will start using Firefox instead of Google. Especially if we take into account the fact that FB becomes less popular and its worth falls.
- most important fact is that GOOGLE and their FB are very stron and most of us use Chrome and FB and this is the moment when Firefox can attract people to use their browser
- what is more this move still let poeple to use FB but in firefox instead of Chrome
