WhatsApp now lets you share your live location

The popular messaging application "WhatsApp" have announced a new feature that will allow you to share your locations in real time with your friends on your contact list.

The feature is called "Live Location" which is actually borrowed from "Facebook" and it is accessible to both iOS and Android operating system in the coming weeks.

Using the "Live Location" feature is very easy, you simply have to open a chat with a person you are talking or a in group and in the attach button select "Share Live Location". There is a timer which you can set for how long you want to share the location or where you are in real time. The coolest thing about it if one or more person share their location in the group everyone locations will be visible on the same map.

Whatsapp assures that it is an end to end encrypted feature. The timer is their to also serve as a security function which the user can choose to stop sharing their location or simply let the live location timer expire.
