North Korea's highest mountain unravels the bloodline of the ruling Kim family and the path to death and destructions by the three serving dictators.
One of the holiest sites in the secretive state , the volcanic mount paektu has now been one of the most dangerous after it was appropriate by the Kim dynasty.
It takes on the mythological status, as according to North Korea's real Version of history Kim's was born in a hut of slopes of the 9.022-ft mountain.
Historical documents actually show Kim Jong - il was infarct born in a refugee camp of Russia.
But it hasn't stopped the North claiming the rugged mountain for its own , using it to legitmise the Kim's three generations of powers while lendings its name to everything from power station to rocket.
